Freshman and New Students

Sports Practices Begin August 4

Fall Athletes: Come in to the office to drop forms off and pay the $75 activity fee before their first event. The office is open 7:45am-5pm, Monday-Thursday during the summer, but starting July 28, academic year hours of 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday begin.

Turn in your forms and payment to get your green slip, which players need to give their coaches on the first day of tryouts in order to participate.

If players try to just hand coaches their medical forms (which must be completed by a health professional), the coaches will send them down to wait in a long line in the office to get their pink slips and it can be really stressful for freshman trying out for a high school team for the first time.

Freshman and “New to Ladue” Family Night

Ladue Horton Watkins High School Parent Association (LHWHSPA) wants you to feel at home in your new school.

Join us for an open house on Monday, August 11, from 5-8:30pm, in the high school courtyard (newly beautified, courtesy of LHWHSPA) - we’ll have signs to get you there.

Complimentary BBQ will be provided by LHWHSPA and the Ladue Dads Club.

Parent volunteers will be there to help answer your questions, giving you an opportunity to learn more about the high school and all it has to offer.

High school students will answer questions about schedules, classes, organizations and activities.

Students can walk their schedules* and become comfortable moving around the building. Remind yours to bring a copy of their schedule, as no paper copies will be available.

*Students will not have the opportunity to walk their schedules at Orientation.

You can turn in all your school and parent association paperwork!

See you on August 11! You can come when you can and stay as long as you like.

Will you be there? Please email your RSVP to

Review Your Rambell Information Now!

The RAMBELL is the Ladue High School directory. Your parent association connects students and parents every fall by bringing this information together and sending it home on paper - it won't be online, so make sure you get your copy.

This summer, we moved all the Rambell addresses and phone numbers from the existing database and linked it to your LHWHSPA email subscription so that you can see and update it online at any time.

We'll reprint your Rambell information every fall while your student(s) are at LHWHS unless you choose to delete it.

If you enter Rambell information for more than one email address, we will use the most recent entry for the directory.

We linked Rambell information to parent email addresses where we could, and a directory entry will be included for each student who has at least a phone number or street address on file.

Review your RAMBELL information now! (Fill in your email address and name to request an email with your personal link for updates if you are already a newsletter subscriber. You could also look for the email and Rambell link at the bottom of any of your emails.)

...In case you might be interested:

  • Your email address will not be listed in the directory.
  • The link to update Rambell and email information is at the bottom of every email we send.
  • Student(s) with more than one household: Each parent or guardian has the opportunity to subscribe and update Rambell information for their household.
  • Rambell updates are due Sunday, September 21, 2014.

Thank you!
