Ladue Freshmen to Serve with Special Olympics

On Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014, LHWHS will host the Special Olympics Volleyball competition for more than 150 athletes.

Participants benefit from the social interaction that comes from competing in a team sport, as well as the training that enables them to successfully serve and return a volleyball.

None of this would be possible without the help of 250 Ladue freshmen who have volunteered to work as buddies to the team members. Volleyball players this year include eight students from LMS and five students from LHWHS.
